Dr. Casimir Y. DA-ALLADA is an Associate Professor at the National University of Sciences, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (UNSTIM) and at the International Chair in Mathematical Physics and Applications (ICMPA-UNESCO Chair) at the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) in Benin. He is responsible for the “Water Engineering, Climate, and Oceanography” team at the Laboratory of Geosciences, Environment, and Applications (LaGEA) and coordinates the Master’s program in Water and Coastal Studies at the National Higher School of Public Works (ENSTP) at UNSTIM. Dr. Casimir Y. DA-ALLADA is also a member of the teaching team for the Master’s program in Oceanography and Applications at the ICMPA-UNESCO Chair at UAC (Benin). He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from ICMPA-UNESCO Chair at UAC (Benin) and the University of Paul Sabatier (France). His research focuses on West African monsoon precipitation, tropical ocean dynamics, ocean mixed-layer processes, ocean-atmosphere interactions, and the impact of solar geoengineering on ocean parameters in the context of global warming. He is the co-author of several articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and a member of the Benin Academy of Young Scientists
